This Course Was …

 

This course was very interesting to me and I learned a lot of things such as printing process, designing a logo and the branding for that logo. Moreover, the book was interesting. It’s added to my skills and now I feel confortable of using illustrator and InDesign, which it was an issue to me before I take this course.

Finally, I really thank my teacher who taught us every thing and prepared us to be professional designers and I will not stop designing because I feel that it’s not hard you just have to planned very well and start working on the project without worrying how it going look like. When you finished the project you impressed ­­your self that you can design , draw and print with a very beautiful out coming design.

My opinion of our Cards project

Cards project was a great opportunity to me to find out about packaging design. First of all I really learned how to use the pen tool in illustrator and I think it’s not very hard to use it’s just the technique that you need to know how to use it. However, the challenging part was the printing of curse because it was hard to organize the papers for back and forth printing but I impressed my self that I organized the cards very will for that reason the person who printed to me didn’t find a difficulty on printing them. The cutting and folding the box was hard also because it’s my first time that I use to do a package. Finally I enjoyed the project.

Finally, I started the printing process, which it was a little bit difficult specially the cutting part and folding the package but honestly I learned A lot form this project.

CARDS Process step 2

I started in using illustrator to draw my characters.

After that I finished all the illustrations and I started drawing the diamond for my numbers and I add some shadow to make it catchy and I used the     in the middle to be more interesting.

Then I drew the patten and design the package from cards .

The following step was the diamond shape for the numbers ..

Next I started editing my illustrations based on the comment that I get from my lovely instructor who is teaching us to be professionals for our future career.

I changed the color to red

Then I changed ..

 I changed the queen body and I changed my Jack to fit with the style and I connected them to be in both sided so it will be playable.
